Went to the cimp talent nite, it was funny and the performance are good. I hardly noticed the time and it took like 3.5 hours! I wish I had lecturers like those. They're good sports and goodlookin' too! At least compared to my lecturers that is.
There was one band who's particularly nervous, the singer. His voice was ok and the song wasn't bad but he was really nervous until he forgot the words. But the crowd cheered on him and sang along with the band so it got on well. It was pretty sweet for the guys to sing along. Really boosted the band up!

The ones singing actually have nice voices so they actually have talents (darn I wish I could sing and dance like 'em).

Watched Save the last dance on VCD. She dances beautifully (for me). I always thought that people shouldn't dance alone, like in the talent nite. They somehow look strange, as if they're the only one worked up. But since I saw the movie I realized that that's especially not true for ballet. Ballerinas actually fill the whole stage with them, you just focus on their movements that you don't get to think about the oddities of dancing alone.
