My arms and thighs ached a lot today, I went and play badminton for the first time in many years, and of course didn't make myself a star in the sport topic. We went to play with my Software Engineering Method lecturer, who played quite well since he won, teaming up with Pit. The evening before, we went to dinner with him, all of us put 2 dollars to pay for his dinner. He talked a lot and seemed to like hanging around just drinking and chatting :) Which I don't mind myself! Then He drove Starky and me home which is a long way to the city and back.
I got Connectix VGS 1.4.1 already and intend to resume my Tales of Destiny and Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth, if it's going to run in my new emulator anyway. They don't sell Star Ocean 2nd Story anywhere it seems!

The other day I downloaded Live A Live , an old RPG by Squaresoft which is cute but nevertheless as hard as any other Square's game. I still couldn't figure out how to finish off the first Ninja mission! The walkthrough doesn't seem to help brilliantly but I guess since it's an old game I have nothing else to do but just try and finish it off in the simplest way.

Preethi-not had a nightmare.. not a nightmare, she had two nightmares in a row actually.
The first one being her seeing a ghost, something like a black cloth floating around and she got really scared, the second one was her and Ka Ren being stalked or something and Ka Ren was injected with some sort of drug/poison/disease and she was running and running and couldn't wake up although she tried to.
She said nightmares are bad omen because sometimes it came true for her (not exactly the same but something connected to the dream) anyway .
For those who tries to find me online and cannot, well I think I'm going to be eating outside today and probably would get back a bit late. Sorry for the inconveniences!

I got an almost anonymous call from a guy.
He speaks my language, so it was barely a coincidence. His first words were, "Who are you?"
and I replied with similar questions, for now I will call him Ogre since he said his name was something like that as well!
He said he was calling for a friend (I don't know if that really means he's calling to find a friend or calling on behalf of a friend) whatever, so we had a somewhat confused conversation and he said he was in Subang Parade, which eliminates the possibility that it was an oversea call. The caller number was sort of mixed up, the first two number being the Kuala Lumpur code but a digit too much for a regular phone number. Then he asked whether I am not an "atiek" .. which I supposed the person he's really calling ?!
Anyway before he hung up he said he'll call me later!?!?!?
*confuse mode*
Anyway I guess I dont' really mind since it's his money anyway.

I got a 500 HTTP request too long.
What is the maximum character for a post?
I keep on cutting my entries into a few smaller entries because of it
So yesterday, the basin in my bathroom fell apart like Humpty Dumpty and I bet not even the king's horses and all the king's men can put that basin back again.

I was in the room watching this J-Friends 2001 Concert when the whole house shook accompanied with a loud crashing, I thought, "What is that girl doing anyway in the bathroom" and continued my vcd, a few moments after my door was banged in a barbaric way and I responded with, "Yes? Just come in." smoothly. The banging continued accompanied by shouts like, "Come out now!" So I eventually paused my computer and went out to see two pale, numb looking housemates. Then I said, "What?"
"The wash basin fell down!"
"Oh.. Ok.."
"The water can't stop flowing, you've got to stop it!"
"What!?!?!" and I ran to my bathroom but they stopped me and said I should wear my slippers. So I ran back to my room, put on my slippers and got out again. The room 2 was open, Preethi-not wasn't anywhere in sight so I thought it was the basin in room 2, but they laughed at me and said it's in my bathroom. So I ran to the kitchen and saw a haggard looking woman with nothing on but towels, looking dumbly at the bathroom. It was Preethi-not. The other housemate told me to turn off the water since it's bursting out of what used to be the hole for the pipe. I went in, got half wet, decided that I don't have anything strong enough to plug the hole to stop the water. I went out again, Preethi-not was still there, staring, and I noticed that there are blood allover dripping from her. So I asked, "Are you hurt? Where?"
She just pointed to her leg and said "I'm okay"
Blood was leaking from a hole in her leg, it wasn't a large hole, but deep enough for the blood to rain down.
I hurried and said, "Go and tend to your foot now, get dressed and I'll call JT (name of hostel master)"
She objected and still say "I'm Okay!"
I thought, 'but you can't stay there looking naked and all when JT comes, can you?' but instead shouted again, "Just go to your room, get dressed, and take care of your foot!"
I went to the living room where two other housemates still standing there, and said, "Take care of Preethi's foot, she's hurt and get her dressed cuz she's not moving now! I'll get JT!" ( do i sound like a really arrogant pushing person? Coz now when I think about it, I sound like some boss telling people what to do, but I just didn't have that much time to think, so whatever)

They nodded and dragged Preethi to her room. I ran downstairs to JT apartment's (by then my slippers were really slippery and I was struggling to run AND not to slip, in coincidence there was a lack of water at the hostel, and with that rate of water going, we're going to turn into a dessert any hour). I banged the door, no answer (later turned out to be the wrong door, the ex-hostel administrator lived there but moved out) I went down and knocked on the emergency-case-hostel-doctor and got a kid openning the door staring at me and saying his father is out. So I said, "But this is emergency!?"
He pointed upstairs and told me I should find JT. By then I really want to just take off my slippers but I thought if I got some stones in me while i was running, that wouldn't do at all.

The funny thing is when I ran back upstairs a panicked looking girl met me and asked, "Did you see a handphone over there?"
I almost laughed and said,"No No I just got here myself" but restrained from saying, 'I mean look at me! I'm wet, I'm running Do you think I have time to take your handphone as well? LOL' I shouted at my other housemate who was playing in the badminton court and I thought, 'How am I going to tell her to go upstairs now, tell the whole story, etc' so i just said, "Preethi-not's hurt, go and take a look at her?!"

Anyway I knocked at the right apartment this time and got JT's daughter and she smiled, pointed to the left and said, "Office.. Office"
So I ran to the office in another block, ran in and told him the whole story. Luckily he called a person right away, told the guy to come right now and told me where the tap to turn off the whole apartment's water is at. So I ran back and wet my whole body, my white shirt, to my underwear, and turned the tap off. Just when I came out from the bathroom the janitor showed up (I wished I had waited longer), he looked at my wet white shirt which was clinging to me like mad and grinned. LOL The others laughed at me and told me to change my clothes (as if I wanted to be in such an appearance anyway LOL)
Anyway afterwards the guy just plugged something in so the water won't leak anymore and JT came and check on the condition. Preethi-not was taken to a clinic much to her objections and she got stitches on her leg. :( She said she didn't feel anything, but there was another sma.ll cut on her toe and she said that hurts a lot (wonders of the world)

According to her story, my housemate preethi-not was in the toilet, doing whatever she was doing, she slipped and unfortunately her one and only saviour was the basin which it turned out didn't save her at all. The basin fell with her and hurt her leg and so on and so forth.

Somehow though, after the whole incident, the whole house was laughing at me and saying that I panicked and teasing me this and that.
So next time another basin falls and hurt anyone I think I'll turn on the VCD.
Largehead went home so we have one less guy to go out with.
I didn't get a chance to get online yesterday because I was out with everyone else for dinner.
I can't seem to remember what I want to write here yesterday *sigh*
Anyway somebody that I don't know told my housemate that I am a snobbish person. LOL. I've been called this many times by many different people, and I don't really mind. When Nun and Pit first saw me they said I was snobbish as well and I guess I did have some negative thoughts about them as well, the thing is, this person that recently mentioned I'm a snobbish person, I don't know him at all, I don't see him, don't know his name, he's not even a classmate, how does he expect me to go up to him and say hi?! Well perhaps this is just an impression kind of stuff on him, but I couldn't care less now. I'm not that desperate that I want to prove to him I'm not snobbish and all.

I found a veryyyy nice friend the other day. Actually I found out that my friend was actually a very nice person *is there any difference?*
He did something I considered really kind, although he didn't say so I just felt that he did something nice for me. Anyway, thank you.

My dream was amusing. Starky and a guy (I can't seem to remember who) graduated and was working in my mother's office (pharmacy). So I visited there and she was working as an Office Lady ?!?!?! The people there told her to send papers to the other and the other manager sends some paper also to another part and she get to carry the papers! Plus she has a really nasty female boss (she's not under my mom) Then I talked to my mom and she cautioned me that I might jeopardize Starky's and mom's career by visiting her. Then mom's boss came in, and I felt awkward and said a lame 'Good morning Sir' and he sneered at my greeting and I... leaned and stumbled towards him? Suddenly all became blur and I was working with Starky again in a magazine/tabloid company! The boss were the same as I recall and they were too hardworking and expected us to do the same. I was given a layout of the index of the magazine and the boss started saying things like, "Enlarge this column, move this column upwards and fill in the space with more story" etc etc "Give it to me tomorrow". I was "Okay Sir." Then I thought to myself in the dream, 'Hey this is great I'm working in a magazine company" and after awhile, "How come Starky and I are working in a magazine company? I thought she was working in a pharmacy?"

Anyway, I got another unpleasant incident yesterday. It's about..... Halal and non-halal food!!! Yes that is a sensitive topic indeed. I had a sudden urge to eat ice cream at 9 PM last night. I know the restaurant near our hostel sells banana split and it's too tempting to resist. I asked around and a housemate who happens to be a Moslem said she'd join me. So we went and she misundertood thinking I wanted to go to another restaurant. So she started asking me whether the food there is halal or not. So I said, as far as I know yes, they don't sell pork, etc and how can ice cream be not halal? She was unsure and I offered her to return to hostel which she refused. We got there and sat down, I inspected the menu to reassure her that they sell no pork, and I ordered the ice cream and ice lemon tea. The food came and she ate with me, then her friend working there sat with us, so I asked her for confirmation again. Is the food here halal? "Yes, they don't use that sort of cooking oil here, it IS halal" So my friend ate happily and I just teased her for thinking that it's a non-halal.
We got back to the hostel and we met two of her friends, both moslem. So she asked the girl again, and somehow the girl gave her a non assuring answer, and my housemate goes all gloomy and muttered "I Shouldn't go there next time" She went all sad and everything and her friend patted her and said "It's okay, you didn't know, so it's ok" So I was bulging my eyes thinking, 'This girl acted like my housemate actually did something bad by eating ice cream!' I didn't get the words exactly so I re-asked her and she said "The food is ok, the drink is ok, I don't know about the _____". I missed hearing the '____' so I didn't know what she was actually saying. Somehow my housemate got upset, gave me an accusing look (like I tried to deliberately put her in hell by offering my ice cream) and ran upstairs without saying anything to me, left me in the middle of the badminton court. So I again re-asked the girl "You don't know about the what?" but she sort of ignored me and played badminton! So I went upstairs and went to my room. I was already fuming by then. What was that girl thinking saying such things? If she doesn't know then she shouldn't say it in such a scary way and keep her mouth shut. I went out of the room and another housemate asked me what's wrong with 'the housemate' since 'the housemate' didn't talk to her at all and just ignored her. Somehow later that night 'the housemate' talked to me in a sort of casual way so we made up? But I deffinitely won't be asking her to go eat with me anymore.
I'm still tempted to say "Tell your God I forced you to eat the ice cream so he'll put me in hell instead, OK?"
I wanted to buy Mineral Palace by Heidi Julkavits but Times didn't have it although Times are running 10% discount :~~. This story reminds me so much of my lecturer. It costs RM 38.90 in MPH.
So I went to the WMU (western Michigan University) Talent Nite at 5 pm in Audi 7 with my housemates, and we waited and waited and waited till they finally started at 6.10PM (Yes, that's the exact minute). So the first performance started, it was a Pakistani karaoke thing with some dance, really loud, with lots of drums/beats but concluding from the shouts and claps it was an OK although not exactly my definition of talent. Then came the Indonesian band singing Separuh Nafasku and another song which I forgot, somehow there wasn't that much of hype because they weren't moving much around the stage. For me it was ok, the voice was ok, the volume was ok. Next are lots and lots of band bringing rock, metal, alternative songs which I endured (due to so much listening to Japanese songs). There was an acapella by 5 girls, it wasn't really an acapella with different tones, etc it was just singing together without music. They sang Stand By Me which they dedicated to a loving memory of their friend. Felt a tiny wee bit sad then even though they didn't actually have singing voices (no offense). The best was a duet by one Nigerian guy and another Indian cute looking girl who sang Against All Odds, they actually could do the two different tone level so it was cool although the guy got a bit offtone sometimes.
We left before the performances actually ends, why? because housemates got headaches, and they were the ones who forced me into coming anyway! Oh well..
